What it is
Diary, Hours vs Estimate and Travel are three separate reports, each its own screen with its own Download PDF and Share buttons — find them under Reports rather than as tabs on one shared page. You only see the reports for the tools you have access to.
Diary
Pick a period — this week, this month, this year or all time — and Diary reads your appointments back. Three tiles across the top count the appointments, the hours booked and your no-show rate, and the dark blue band shows what you actually completed against everything that was booked.
- Lost to no-shows and cancellations: what those appointments were worth, so you can see the cost of people not arriving.
- Deposits taken, and what is still to collect on work you have completed.
- By status: confirmed, pending, complete, no-show and cancelled, each with its count, hours and value.
- By client: who books the most, what they are worth, and how many times they did not turn up.
Hours vs Estimate
Every job you have logged time against shows the hours to date versus the hours quoted, a progress bar, and a badge — Over (red) when it has passed the quote, Near limit, or On track. It also splits the hours into billable and non-billable, so when a job runs over you can decide whether to bill the extra or absorb it. To feed this report, put an estimated-hours figure on the quote and pick that quote under Link to quote when you log time.
Travel
Pick a period — This month, This year or All time — and the report totals your trips, kilometres and SARS deduction for it, grouped by trip type. This is the summary to keep for tax: tap Download PDF for a letterheaded copy, or Share for a quick text summary.
