What this is for
A bookkeeper with several clients, an owner with two companies, or an accountant helping out — one Worklog login covers them all, at no extra cost, because Worklog has no per-user fees. Each business's books stay completely separate; you simply choose which one you're working in.
Step 1 — get invited to the other business
- The OWNER of the other business logs in there and opens Team & Permissions (Business Hub → Team, or /team).
- They tap + Invite, type YOUR email address — the one you already log in to Worklog with — and choose what you may see and do there.
- They send you the invite link (the Copy invite link button makes this easy to WhatsApp).
- Open the link and accept while logged in as yourself. No second account, no second password — your existing login simply gains a second business.
Step 2 — find My Businesses
The page lives at worklog.co.za/my-businesses, and there are two doors to it inside the app:
- On a computer: the card at the very top of the left sidebar shows the business you're working in — tap it. Once your login belongs to more than one business, it also shows a Switch ⇄ hint.
- On your phone: a Businesses ⇄ button appears in the row at the top of the dashboard (next to Help).
Step 3 — switch
- My Businesses lists every business your login belongs to: your role there, its plan, and what falls due at SARS in the next 45 days.
- The one you're currently in is marked ✓ Current.
- Tap Open on another one. The whole app — every list, report and widget — switches to that business immediately.
Good to know
Your dashboard board is separate per business, so your widget layout in one client doesn't follow you into another. The deadline digest shows each business's registered obligations; open the business itself for its full Compliance Dashboard. And your access in each business is exactly what its owner granted — being the owner of your own business gives you no extra rights in anyone else's.
