Why there is a limit
When you type, speak or photograph something into Quick Log, Worklog uses AI to read it and work out the entry. That reading costs money to run, so each plan includes a set number of AI logs a month. It is a generous bundle — enough for normal day-to-day logging — and the ordinary forms are never limited.
How many you get
- Solo — 150 AI logs a month.
- Team — 500 AI logs a month.
- Complete — unlimited AI logs.
The count is per calendar month and starts fresh on the 1st. Anything you did not use does not carry over.
What counts as one log
- Each time Worklog reads a note for you counts as one — whether you typed it, spoke it, or sent a photo. A photo and a line of text both count the same: one each.
- The bundle belongs to the business, not to each person. If you have staff with their own logins, everyone shares the same monthly pool.
- Only the AI reading counts. Saving the entry, and everything you do in the normal forms, does not use the bundle.
You can always log by hand
If the business uses up its AI logs for the month, the Quick Log AI shortcut pauses until the 1st — but logging your money never stops. Log income and Log expense on the home screen keep working exactly as before, with no limit at all. The other tools — the Diary, your price list, the Travel Log and so on — are always there to enter things by hand too.
Seeing how many you have left, and getting more
- Worklog keeps track of how many AI logs the business has used this month and shows how many are left.
- When the bundle runs out, Quick Log tells you and offers to move to a plan with more — Team for 500 a month, or Complete for unlimited.
- Upgrading takes effect straight away, so the AI shortcut comes back as soon as you are on the new plan; you do not have to wait for the 1st.
